The Matrox RT.X 10 is Matrox's entry level video editing card. Matrox of course have a long history in video editing. The RT.X10 supports both digital video capture and provides a breakout box for analogue composite and S-Video inputs and outputs. The RT.X10's onboard functionality and the power of the host CPU substantially increases the number of effects you can apply before you have to render.

The video editing package it comes with is the highly respected Adobe Premiere Pro. Most of Premiere’s native effects are handled in real-time. So also are the Matrox effects. In addition to the video editing software you get the excellent Sonic DVD it! SE DVD creation tool that is both simple to use and quite feature rich (Note: This is the SE version of Sonic DVDit)
